"A magical blend of lodging music and nature" 

In 1995, a group of friends gathered in NYC and dreamed of creating a home base for highly interactive and immersive music events set in an idyllic, natural environment. With this in mind, in 2000, Henry Stout and Michael Densmore founded Full Moon Resort.  Initial programming featured weekend events with local and regional touring artists.

By 2006 the concept had taken root and Full Moon Resort launched Music Masters Camps presenting mid-week, multi-day events with high caliber touring artists. Within a few years, the summer schedule began to blossom, with weekly presentations featuring world-class musicians, spanning the spectrum of genres. 

In 2019, Music Masters Collective Inc. was formed as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.  The mission is to expand programming and opportunities for musicians and music lovers of all backgrounds and skill levels, regardless of economic limitations, to experience our programs and enjoy a deeper level of connection to the music they love and the artists who make it happen.

Music Masters Collective Inc. shares an ongoing symbiotic relationship with Full Moon Resort, our home base. The common thread is the integration of superb lodging, dining and customer service with educational, artistic and social networking elements, such as forums, interactive master classes and live performances.

MMC is funded by a combination of registration fees, grants and sponsorships. In addition, in collaboration with "host" artists, the organization accepts donations, 100% of which are distributed to charitable causes such as scholarships and third party non-profit organizations.

Looking forward, we envision more robust events at Full Moon Resort, expansion of our scholarship program and the development of on-line programming.
